Cheers to 2014! See the Stars Popping Bottles

As we gear up to ring in the New Year, we thought it necessary to inspire your own bottle-popping adventures with a roundup of celebrities raising their glasses in celebration. Whether they were pouring it out like Rihanna and Kate Middleton, sipping slowly like Leonardo DiCaprio, or taking it to the house (hello there, Tina Fey!), stars always found an occasion that deserved a bit of bubbly. Keep reading to see all the celebrity Champagne moments — and have a safe and happy New Year!

Paris and Nicky Hilton celebrated with Champagne and sparklers at a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas back in 2007.

Rihanna and Her Bikini Are Living It Up in Barbados

Rihanna's been soaking up the sun in her bikini all week in Barbados, and today was no exception! The pop singer spent the day on the beach and by the pool and even hopped onto a Jet Ski for a little bit of fun on the water. Rihanna took to Instagram to show off a few of her own memories from the vacation, including plenty of bikini shots as well as a few snaps with her friends. She also shared the official poster for the New Year's Eve bash at Jay Z's 40/40 Club, which she's set to host.

How to Clean Your Hairbrush

Question: how long should your hairbrush last?
Answer: years!
With the proper cleaning routine, you can keep your favorite tool looking its best for a very long time. Hairbrushes can collect dirt, dust, and product buildup from your strands. While you probably rid the bristles of hair often, you should also consider doing a deeper clean once a week. I cringe just thinking of all the icky stuff that gets trapped and put back into your hair.

Chanel: Beauty Tribute

CHANEL shows are not only highly-anticipated due to the beautiful clothes, celebrity front row and impressive model line-up - the catwalk make-up is just as noteworthy.
Make-up artist Peter Philips and hairstylist Sam McKnight have experimented with everything from pastel wigs to mesh lashes over the years, always managing to create looks strong enough to complement Karl Lagerfeld's headline-grabbing collections.

Here, i take a look back at Chanel's most innovative, extravagant and creative catwalk make-up.

Mesh "lashes" were applied to each model's upper and lower lash lines, creating a smeared, smudged effect - as if the model had been crying and her make-up had left feathered tracks upon her cheeks. The look was finished with smoky, pewter shadow, pearly lips and nude nails.

Black Hair & Highlights

Ebony black hair color looks so magnetic and mysterious that women sometimes cannot resist the temptation to wear black color. Still, this is one of the most capricious tones and not everyone can pull of block colored hair. In case with natural black hair I can say nothing but admire all the beauty of dark and glossy black tresses.

Let’s forget about natural black hair and consider permanent black color suitable for you. Actually I want to show you some ideas of black hair color combined with highlights that will look more stylish and beautiful than block colored hair.

Spring 2014 Mens Wear GUCCI

Motherhood has transformed Frida Giannini. She glowed when she took her bow today. And she looked taller. The first outfit on the catwalk---a floral print tee, matching leggings, and a backpack---sent a message mixed enough to suggest that Gucci itself had taken an equally transformative turn: younger, clubbier, more athletic. First impressions are usually quite accurate. The collection that followed was a new direction for the label.

Spring 2014 Ready to Wear GUCCI

A season ago, Frida Giannini was pregnant and sending nipped-waist skirt suits and second-skin python dresses down the Gucci runway. There would be no slinking into one of those for her. Today, she took the label's Spring collection in a sporty new direction, with mesh T-shirts, basketball shorts, track pants, and exposed triangle bras. Post-baby, Giannini spent the summer working out. "I wanted to come back with my abs," she said backstage.

Pre - Fall 2014 GUCCI

To best understand Frida Giannini's approach to her Gucci Pre-Fall collection, it helps to look down. There, you will either find a towering 108-mm platform ankle bootie or the iconic Gucci horse-bit loafer, which celebrated its sixtieth anniversary this year. What might seem like a binary proposition---blue-blood flat versus hyper-glamorous heel---is really just Giannini exploring the Janus aspect of the Gucci woman: that is, looking back and looking ahead.

Pre - Fall 2014 CHANEL

In Texas, they don't do anything small. Neither does Chanel. It's been a mutually beneficial match since way back in 1957, when Neiman Marcus' Stanley Marcus, having embraced Coco Chanel's 1954 comeback collection even as the French rejected it, gave Chanel the store's Award for Distinguished Service in the field of fashion. Tomorrow, Neiman's will present Karl Lagerfeld with the same honor. The full-circle moment gave Lagerfeld the theme for his fabulous new Métiers d'Art show, dubbed Back in Dallas, as well as the spectacles that preceded and followed it.

Resort 2014 CHANEL

Chanel is on vacation. It's part of the definition of its Cruise line, right there in the name. So Karl Lagerfeld led his legions to Singapore. It's boiling here, 100 degrees in the shade, but that's not to suggest Lagerfeld has slowed down a bit. On the contrary, he showed a collection---collection, he clarified, not pre-collection---as vast and various as any of his other ready-to-wear bounties. This one, though, in the spirit of Cruise, had a holidaying pluck. There was a fifties-inflected soundtrack, with snatches of Elvis and Yma Sumac courtesy of Michel Gaubert, and a bouncy ease to the key new

Spring 2014 Ready to Wear CHANEL

Karl Lagerfeld had a great summer: The sun shone, Choupette was happy, creative juices geysered. The concept and the clothes for his new collection came together at the same time. Art! You can scarcely pick up a magazine or newspaper these days without coming across something about the volatility of the art world, the millions that are being spent in the getting of pictures on which the paint is scarcely dry. It's become a huge oligarchical pissing contest, with the annual art fair in Basel, Switzerland, its most competitive arena. And Lagerfeld, antennae attuned to every wrinkle of the here and now, didn't miss a

Resort 2014 EMPORIO ARMANI

It's clear that Resort is mostly a commercial proposition for Giorgio Armani, at least as far as his Emporio collection is concerned. His latest Resort offering for the label was a fiercely edited dozen-plus looks that offered familiarity rather than experimentation. That meant these were clothes that Armani acolytes could seamlessly slip into their Giorgio-filled closets, particularly the pantsuits. But Armani isn't a lazy designer, so he gave his tropes a twist. One jacket featured a trompe l'oeil doubled hem, suggesting a skirt underneath. Another was shown in a peachy leather. And another—of leather

Spring 2014 Mens Wear EMPORIO ARMANI

Emporio Armani's digital world was a clean, bright place. None of the mess of The Matrix. Instead, a seamless symphony of neutral colors, sci-fi textures, and a selection of sportswear staples whose streamlines would have been more impactful with the kind of judicious edit that Giorgio himself isn't remotely interested in.

This collection usually has an innate body-conscious athleticism. It was obvious today in blazers that zipped—rather than buttoned—close to the body, in the lightness of construction, in the sporty mesh-like

Spring 2014 Ready to Wear EMPORIO ARMANI

During the course of the absolutely enormous Emporio show staged today by Giorgio Armani (94 looks!), it became obvious that there was an organic undertow propelling the collection forward, from the aqueous shimmer of the opening passage to the stardust-strewn finale. And, just as nature is a hit-and-miss proposition, so was Armani's Emporio. The models had hair braided and bobby-pinned into wheat sheaves. Natural, yet tortured. And, for every lyrical evocation—a shower of flower petals, or misty jungle flora—there was some strange manmade intrusion, foremost of these being the

Resort 2014 GIORGIO ARMANI

Lightness was the key motif for Giorgio Armani's new Resort collection. It came across not just in the dresses—a wispy thing in organza embellished allover with laser-cut flowers or an embroidered V-neck shift as sheer as a beach cover-up—but also in the tailoring. The silk gauze of a double-breasted pantsuit put the focus on the unstructured silhouette Armani has been perfecting for decades. An elastic-waist navy jacket and neoprene-cuffed silk pants lent other looks in his brief lineup a sporty mien. That was counterbalanced by a renewed emphasis on ultra-polished accessories.

Spring 2014 Mens Wear GIORGIO ARMANI

Giorgio Armani's early acclaim as the Emperor of Greige has lingered unlovingly into the years when navy blue has become his sweet spot. That much was true once again today, with a menswear collection that, from stem to stern, made sweet music with the blues. In between, there was a subtle celebration of color that testified to Armani's extraordinary ability to continually adjust his aesthetic in such a way that there is always a sense of forward movement. Not bad for a man who is exploring the ramifications of his ninth decade on the face of the planet.

Spring 2014 Ready to Wear GIORGIO ARMANI

"The press always needs a clear message," Giorgio Armani announced at the conference for the Italian media that followed his show today. So that's what he gave them, with a muted presentation that was, for him at least, tightly edited down to two distinct stories. "A woman who's free to fly but can carry her own weight, gentle but gutsy" is how Armani defined the two faces of his collection. The gutsiness was summed by city suits: jackets and shorts or wrapped skirts. The freedom to fly came through in fabrics that started off sheer and steadily insinuated themselves in ever enveloping volumes, until a final

Resort 2014 VERSACE

Sailor pants and swimsuits are Resort standbys, but trust Donatella Versace to put her unique spin on them. She started by swapping predictable navy and white (not a very Versace combo) for candy colors like lime, orange, pink, and aqua, and accenting the collection's marinière stripes with tiny floral prints. Vichy checks were also part of the lively mix. Next, naturally, she amped the sex appeal way, way up. Pants and skirts with double rows of Medusa-head sailor buttons were so low-slung they barely clung to models' hip bones, and sweaters were chopped well north of the belly button.

Spring 2014 Mens Wear VERSACE

Donatella Versace has quit smoking! Overnight! This epochal moment in fashion was the perfect lead-in to DV's latest collection for men, which celebrated the extreme discipline of athletes. It was also a sufficiently dramatic development to warrant a burst of Wagner's The Valkyrie as the fanfare to her show. ("I'm a drama queen," she said by superfluous way of warning.) And, as if to draw an uncrossable line in the sand between past and future, Donatella opened said show with seven outfits that represented her own Versace icons—the way we were—before unleashing her latest collection—the way we will be.

Spring 2014 Ready to Wear VERSACE

Drake's big up to Donatella closed the Versace show tonight, but it was Nine Inch Nails who soundtracked the rest of the presentation, and it was the sullen mean girls of hard rock, not hip-hop, who shaped the collection. Maybe that's why the whole thing worked so well. The Reznor situation was close to Donatella's heart. Beforehand, she was as excited as we've ever seen her as she waved around the Versace World Tour 2014 T-shirts that were standouts in the show (she wore one for her walkout). The gigs listed on the back of the tee ran the usual gamut—New York, London, Paris, etc.—but Jupiter and Venus were also named.
